GIMP: A nifty graphic design tool

From now, I decided to learn new basic skills and eventually master them. One of the really cool ones to learn is graphic design where you can design illustrations and create cool layouts with.

Good thing, I found out about GIMP. It's a free graphic design software, simple enough to use. Worthwhile learning, especially there are tons of videos you can research find online especially on Youtube.

For a start, I learned to do basic editing with pictures, integrating a little bit of special effects. Check out this really useful GIMP basic video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVy_EDDe_-0&feature=fvw.

I'm sure this might look a little bit very basic for a graphic design, but otherwise, baby steps are still the way to go to mastery. "To get the stars, you take on step at a time."
